Managing Nation’s Combustion Research Program: Song-Charng Kong

Song-Charng Kong (PhD ’94), a mechanical engineering professor at Iowa State University, also serves as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation. He manages the Combustion and Fire Systems Program, providing leadership in combustion research to the nation. He was recently elected to be a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
