Advising of the UW student Homecoming Committee is now coordinated by the UW–Madison Office of Student Affairs. This shift from oversight by the Wisconsin Alumni Association^® (WAA) became effective January 25, 2021, at the start of the spring semester.

This decision was made with two goals in mind: more closely connecting student Homecoming activities with the broader vision of student leadership and engagement on campus, and ensuring sufficient support for the student Homecoming Committee in carrying out that vision.

We at WAA will continue to support the work of the committee and collaborate on select activities in the future.
