Karla (Jameson) Thennes, MSSW’90, has recently been appointed as Executive Director of Porchlight Inc. of Madison. Porchlight is a non-profit that provides housing, meals, counseling, and employment opportunities to homeless persons, veterans, people struggling with addiction, and those down on their luck. Karla started with the company as an intern right out of UW–Madison, and has been there 25 years. Karla is married to Zach Thennes BS’97, they have three children and reside in lovely Madison, WI.
