Support WAA Programs and Services

The Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) is an organization designed to serve the needs of all Badger alumni and promote the welfare of the entire University of Wisconsin-Madison. We depend on additional support beyond membership dues to help us carry out our mission. Any and all contributions made to sustain WAA’s mission are appreciated. And they will be put to good use — from Alumni Learning programs and student scholarships to advocacy efforts and so much more!

Special Thank You

Those who contribute at the Super Badger level and above will receive a complimentary WAA wall calendar. And everyone who contributes, at any one of these giving levels, will be recognized in the pages of Badger Insider Magazine, WAA’s members-only publication.

Founders’ Society: $500+

In many ways this group can trace its origins to 1849, when the first class at UW-Madison was held. That founding inspired WAA in 1924 to start what is now one of the oldest Badger traditions, Founders’ Day. And Badgers who contribute at this level will find themselves as revered as this tradition itself!

Distinguished Alumni: $250-$499

Named after the Distinguished Alumni Awards we’ve been presenting to alumni since 1936 for their professional achievements, contributions to society and support of the university, this group also includes a who’s who of prestigious Badgers.

Super Badger: $100-$249

In many ways, all alumni and friends of the university are super Badgers, thanks to the pride felt in the UW’s stellar sports teams and educational excellence. But only those who reside in this group have official dibs on the title.

Big Red: $25-$99

This is a great entry point for those looking to help preserve what’s most important about being a Badger. The Big Red group offers everybody an opportunity to make a difference.

Happy Member Appreciation Month, WAA members! Thank you for being a part of this Badger community. Be sure to take advantage of special perks all April long. Not a member? Join today.
