Tim R. Garland ’82 Receives Landscape Design Award

Tim R. Garland ’82, board-certified and registered landscape architect and owner of Garland Alliance, Inc., has received recognition in MKE Lifestyle magazine’s Garden Book. This special edition, focusing on gardens and landscape design, highlighted his firm, Garland Alliance, Inc., as a Gold Winner in the Overall Backyard Design category. His firm has also been featured in two recent editions of Landscape Architect and Specifier News, acknowledged among distinguished Landscape Architect Firms of the Upper Midwest, and recognized for philanthropic work on the design and development of the St. Matthew’s Lakefront Community ElderGarten in Kenosha, WI. Tim’s extensive background in the commercial, residential, and therapeutic/healthcare sectors has earned him a reputation for versatility and design with purpose and conscience. The scope of his work ranges from neighborhood backyards and school playgrounds to large corporate headquarters and medical centers.

Jeff Maskalunas ’18, MS’20 started ultimate frisbee programing at local Boys & Girls Clubs in the Capital Region, New York, two years ago. He recently won a grant through the USA Ultimate Foundation to continue this volunteer work.
