Thomas Cherpes Receives Award to Accelerate Commercialization of New Technology

Thomas Cherpes DVM’89’s  Ohio State University lab developed a technology (i.e., a novel peptide) to promote cutaneous wound repair. Cherpes is co-inventor with another individual in the lab, and their technology has the potential to enhance wound management in human and veterinary medicine. The technology is in the early stages of commercialization, and this summer, they received an Ohio State University Accelerator Award. These awards are designed to facilitate the commercialization of technology.
