Ryan Schanhofer Promoted to Chief Executive Officer
KL Engineering, Inc., proudly announces the promotion of Ryan Schanhofer ’99 to chief executive officer (CEO), in addition to his current duties as president, following the retirement of founder and CEO Kim M. Lobdell. Ryan has served as president since 2022 and, as CEO, will assume full responsibility for major corporate decisions, as well as the overall vision and strategic direction of the company.
In his new role, Ryan will be instrumental in achieving KL Engineering’s long-term strategic goals and will continue to focus on delivering exceptional results for clients. With his strong leadership and strategic foresight, Ryan is well-prepared to guide the company forward, ensuring continued growth and innovation. His commitment to excellence supports KL’s mission of providing high-quality services and solutions to its clients. Ryan’s proven vision and leadership capabilities ensure that the company is well-positioned for a successful future. Ryan joined KL Engineering in 2009 and has played an instrumental role in the company’s growth. He holds a BS in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a certificate in business foundations from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He is also a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan.
