Robert Miller ’92 Joins Dignity Health as Regional Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Dignity Health, a member of CommonSpirit Health, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Miller ’92 as regional vice president of marketing and communications for California. This strategic addition to our leadership team strengthens our efforts to build a more integrated and effective marketing and communications function across the California region.
Miller brings more than 25 years of health care marketing experience to the role, having held leadership positions at Abbott and Baxter Healthcare, and serving as pPresident of BPD Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest health system marketing firms. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer at Gateway Foundation.
“Robert brings a blend of strategic insight, health care expertise, and a deep understanding of how to connect with consumers in meaningful ways,” shares Adam Rice, System SVP and chief marketing officer, CommonSpirit Health. “His leadership will be instrumental in advancing our marketing and communications efforts across California, and we are excited to welcome him to the California team.”
Miller’s extensive experience in brand-building, market growth, and navigating the complexities of the health care landscape make him uniquely suited to lead this critical function for our California markets.

Miller holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
