Brian Kurth ’96: From Actuary to Lead Attorney

Brian Kurth ’96 began his career as an actuary before making a bold shift into law. Today, he serves as lead attorney at Meyerkord & Kurth, LLC, where he represents clients in Saint Louis personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, truck accidents, and catastrophic injuries. Recognized on the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ list from 2014 to 2017, Brian brings the same analytical precision he once applied to numbers into the courtroom. His journey from actuarial science to trial advocacy highlights the power of reinvention and the impact of pursuing one’s true calling.
