Come out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of San Francisco! Join local Badgers for a beginner’s-level group hike at San Bruno State Park, followed by a social lunch at The Halfway Club at 1166 Geneva Avenue in San Francisco. Network with other recent UW grads and diverse alumni who live, work, and play in the greater Bay Area. Plus, learn about the variety of resources and connection opportunities available to you through the Wisconsin Alumni Association, including:
- the Recent-Grad Council
- identity-based affinity groups
- alumni chapters
Whether you’ve been here for years or just a few days, there’s nothing like fellow Badgers to make a place feel like home!
You can join the hike, the lunch, or both. Bring your own sunscreen, hat, and water bottle!

Additional Information
Parking costs $6 per vehicle at the state park. The first 25 cars to arrive will receive a free parking pass!
