A Peek at the Future of Campus
Ever wonder what all that construction is when you visit campus? Receive a bird’s-eye view of what the future of campus will look like, including recent campus building projects, the upcoming Campus Framework Plan, and sustainability goals.
The evening will include an opportunity drawing and a silent auction.
About the Speaker
Scott Utter serves as the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s director of campus planning and landscape architecture. Utter is responsible for interpreting, updating, and recommending strategies that align with the Campus Framework Plan. The department serves as a liaison between the city of Madison, the UW’s adjacent neighborhoods, and the campus community to ensure expectations are managed and site development is viewed within the campus context. Utter has more than 24 years of experience as an architect. Prior to the director position, he was a project manager within FP&M, working on Irving and Dorothy Levy Hall, the Libraries Collection Preservation Facility, and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Framework Plan.
