WAA Luminary Awards: An Evening of Conversation

Learn from the Luminaries

Get a brighter perspective on thought-provoking topics when you attend this discussion featuring the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s most recent Luminary Award winners. It’s sure to be an enlightening event when these accomplished awardees share their inspirational stories with you. In addition to an evening of captivating conversation, you’ll enjoy a sparkling reception with light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres prior to and following the discussion. There’s no cost to attend, but registration is required.

Schedule of Events

4:30 p.m. Welcome reception
5 p.m. Program begins — welcome and introductions by Sarah Schutt, executive director and chief alumni officer of the Wisconsin Alumni Association followed by conversations with the awardees moderated by Jessica Arp ’04, senior managing director of communications for the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association
6 p.m. Closing remarks followed by a reception with beer, wine, soda, appetizers, and sweets
7 p.m. Event ends

Luminary Award 2023 Recipients

Parking

There are numerous campus-area parking lots near Grainger Hall. The closest is adjacent to Grainger Hall (Lot 7) and is a pay-as-you-go lot. Find more parking information on the Wisconsin School of Business web page.

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association will hold this event in accordance with all local public health guidance. Mask usage is welcome but not required. Participants who are sick are asked to stay home to help keep our Badger community safe and healthy. If conditions require a change to this event, you will be notified via email or phone call.
