Wisconsin Alums married for 80 years: Marcia and Arthur Jacobs

Marcia Fox ’38 and Arthur Jacobs ’34, MA’35 met at the University of Wisconsin and married in 1937. To this day they watch Wisconsin football and wear Wisconsin hats. This summer, at the age of 100 and 104 they may be the oldest living married Wisconsin alumni. They live in Rye, New York, have two children, John, a psychiatrist, and Jeffrey, a businessman and filmmaker. They have six grandchildren and two great grandchildren and speak of their wonderful years at University of Wisconsin all the time.
