Michael C. Stauder MD’07 Promoted to Professor
Michael C. Stauder MD’07 was promoted to professor of radiation oncology at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
Dr. Stauder earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 1999 and his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2007. He completed his clinical residency in radiation oncology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He joined the MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Department in 2011.
Dr. Stauder is a Morgan Welch Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Program and Clinic member. His research focus centers on the design and development of prospective clinical trials for the evaluation of immunotherapy in combination with radiation, especially in triple-negative, inflammatory, and (oligo) metastatic hormone-positive breast cancer.
Dr. Stauder is a member of several national and international radiation therapy–related societies and organizations. He is involved in several educational and mentorship activities, including resident training and global academic programs. Dr. Stauder has authored many articles, editorials, abstracts, and book chapters.
