Bucky Run

On October 24, 2008, the Friday before Homecoming, Bucky Badger, members of the WAA Homecoming Committee and the UW-Madison cheerleaders took WAA's vintage 1932 Bucky wagon on its annual pilgrimage to bring cheer to the many fans around the UW campus. This year they took the opportunity to visit an international family of pre-schoolers at UW-Madison's Eagle Heights Community Center. Fun was had by all! Click here to check out the photos.

Thai Fest

Thai Fest took place September 14, 2008. It was a time to discover the richness and beauty of the Thai culture. It was a free festival that took place in the picturesque Thai Pavilion and Garden at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. Click here to read more.

Four UW alumni joined several others from the Unites States and Europe to experience a unique journey, June 29–July 13, 2008 from Moscow to Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia on the Trans-Siberian Express private train. India Initiative Reception

On October 11, 2007, the Wisconsin Alumni Association, the Division of International Studies and the Center for South Asia hosted a reception for Indian American alumni in the Madison area and UW-Madison faculty with an interest in India. Click here to read more.
